As can be seen in my first error log quote I'm on calibre 8.0.1, using Windows-10-10.0.26100-SP0 (=Windows 11) and I did use the MSI file to automagically update, which went well. I did prior updating remove manually the Extended plugin to be on the safe side.

Problems started after updating and using plugin 2.20.0. Now back on 2.19.1 and all is well again.
Problem is that the plugin eventually prevented even to start calibre, which is serious.
