The bold-italic variant is listed with a Panose weight of Demi instead of bold which causes italic to show as bold as well. FontTools allows a quick fix for this if you don't mind exporting the font file to a XML version, modifying it and importing it back to a TTF file. I've attached an image of what it looks like after the modification.
