importing saved searches

Working on improving the access to footnotes, I devised a Regex which worked well on my MacBook and I saved it in the Saved Searches.

Later, I wanted to run the same regex on my linux box and ended up copying the 'sigil_searches_v6.ini' file from the MacBook to the linux box, lifted the regex from it and pasted it into the Find box of Sigil's F&R window.

It was immediately obvious that it required editing to remove lots of '\' escapes - then it worked fine and I saved it into the Linux Sigil saved searches.

Is there a way to import saved searches directly? Can I just copy & paste the four lines for each item from one file to the other without damaging the receiving file?
