Yeah, but he seems remarkably well adjusted for the experience of being in the shelter so young. Very friendly but not overly submissive (or underly). Sleeps through the night great, not gotten sick on bringing him home..
I wasn't very happy about the quality of the shelter, they didn't have a staff vet and so the poor little guy had fleas and ticks, and a little underfed. But in the last two days he's gotten his shots and vaccines and has already gotten just the right amount of puppy fat!
But yes, being spoiled rotten already!
