Which was good. Nice bit of Edinburgh history intertwined with the plot.

Then I read Freedom's Landing by Anne McCaffrey. A underwhelming SF story that's more implausible romance than SF. There are three more, but I won't be getting them.

And then I read Stone Unturned by Lawrence Watt-Evans. The most recent in his Ethshar series, and the usual good fun.

Next was The Phoenix Code by Catharine Asaro. A tale of androids that reminded me of Freedom's Landing in that it was really a romance. I had expected more.

Now I'm reading A Room Full of Bones by Elly Griffiths. The fourth in her Dr Ruth Galloway series. Good so far.
