When the cable is disconnected the current value updates about 20 times before the device powers off. Unfortunately I don't have a bench supply to test with. I've ended up ordering another Page though so will be able to verify if it's a battery issue whenever that arrives. Will also be interesting to see if it starts working after flashing the emmc from the new one to the old one.
