Since Kobo already supports LCP DRM on their Tolino line of ereaders, that they would support LCP on their Kobo line of ereaders only makes sense given the Kobo seems to moving in the direction of a unified firmware base for both.

Looking at a tolino, it appears that their proprietary renderer is used for LCP while the Adobe RMSDK renderer is used for Adobe's ADEPT DRM. Oddly similar to the current Kobo setup where RMSDK uses Adobe DRM while their WebKit based renderer uses Kobo's proprietary DRM.

BTW, for a list of who supports LCP, I would suggest EDR Labs
