Does Kobo sync the reader and iPhone app so I can read on any device at the current page?
You might also want to check out the PocketBook InkPad 4. It has a 7.8" screen, has a Send-to-PocketBook feature and will sync with the PocketBook's iOS application. There's also an InkPad Color 3 with the same features. (Personally I would prefer the clarity of the b/w reader, but that's a personal choice.) The PocketBooks also have Adobe ADE built in, so you need only send the .acsm file to it.
