That's a fair point, I know Apple stops supporting hardware long before it actually can't handle the newer macOS versions. Occasionally I can understand why, like newer versions and Apple Intelligence (which I don't really like but it's a big push for them).


I can't promise I can properly support older calibre versions. I was in the middle of rewriting the plugin, but with native KePub support I want to compare my new code to Kovid's KePub code. Still no promises on when that happens, lots going on in real life, but I can make an effort to target calibre 5.44. That's the latest version that will work with macOS 10.14 "Mojave", which at this point is almost 7 years old.


Once that new version is released though, it's most likely still going to be critical maintenance only. We'll see what bugs get reported.
