I use my Android's hotspot in order to connect to a self hosted Calibre OPDS server, which requires me to use KOReader's proxy function. Since my Android's hotspot ip address changes each time I enable it, it would be very useful if KOReader could set the proxy IP based on the WiFi connection default gateway.

Does anyone know where would I need to start looking at in order to write a plugin or user patch that does this?
