They seemed happy enough to let me buy it with my UK account.

They've got my number. I had Dragons of Autumn Twilight on my kindle wishlist because I'm doing an exercise where I reread some books that meant something to me growing up. I don't expect to get as much from Dragonlance these days, but I wanted to reread it anyway. It would have cost me £5.99, which I thought was a bit much. Instead I've paid two-and-a-half times that price and got 25 more books I didn't really want.
