Problem with library on new computer
Hello !
So, as the title say, I'm currently setting up my new computer.
I used Calibre's Import/Export tool to reinstall my 3 libraries. At the end of the import, I received a warning that one of my libraries was corrupted, but since all the books appeared without any problem while accessing it, same as the 2 other libraries, I didn't worry too much. Since Calibre seemed to have forgotten the way the columns were displayed in this library, I just thought that those were the parts that were corrupted.
In this session, I modified a few books and noticed that a plugin didn't work as expected, so I restarted my computer to see if it made a difference.
When I tried to open Calibre, I got another warning that Calibre was unable to uncorrupt my library, and when I accessed it, I realised that only the books I modified in the last session were still displayed.
After verification, the files and folders are still present, where they should be, in the library folder, they are just not displaying in Caliber's interface.
My question is, what should I do?
I still have my former computer and library, do I re-export it? What of the modifications I made in some books?
Do I try downloading all the books from the old folders? but then what of all my custom metadata?
This is a pretty big library (around 4500 books) with a lot of custom metadata, so I'm a bit hesitant to experiment without guidance... 😅
Thanks for any help!
