I can ping 192.168.1.100 but cannot connect to it via remote web browser (http://192.168.1.100:8083) but can on the PC (http://127.0.0.1:8083 OR http://192.168.1.100:8083). I have tried with browsers on 2 different android phones and one android tablet, and via the Pocketbook reader app after adding the local net address for the server on a phone and on the tablet. It simply won't connect and times out. If I try with a browser, first I get a warning page that the system doesn't accept secure connections (https), I then select proceed anyway and then I end up with "The site cannot be reached" and the site took too long to respond. Connection timed out. I've completely disabled Windows Defender and tried to connect with Antivirus turned off as well. No change.
you need to Port Forward (8083) to 192.168.1.100

192 is a Internal, non-routable IP (10 is another common one)
Then from outside (WAN) you need to use your routers IP:8083
