Make absolutely sure your versions are what were specified. If K4PC sneakily updated on you, that method won't work until you downgrade back to 2.4.0. Make absolutely sure you use the 10.0.9 version of dedrm. If you download the "stable release" 10.0.3, it won't work. For eink kindle method, make sure you add your appropriate serial number.

Dedrm most reliably happens during the initial add/import of the book though with more recent versions will happen during conversion as well; so if a book failed, delete it from Calibre and retry after making whatever changes are tried.

Note: if your kindle is actually a fire tablet, the eink kindle method won't work as the fire is different from actual eink devices.
