I must agree with BetterRed that having your library 2 way syncing with DropBox is a very very bad idea.

I didn’t copy my library over to my Mac it downloaded to my Mac from Dropbox. It’s in the correct location as per my Dropbox folder I just don’t understand why I can’t link to it. I had no issues each time I linked to the other three PCs, which are all windows PCs. I had a MacBook before and again I had no issues. It should be quite simple.
I need Calibre in Dropbox as I use Calibre Sync.if I have to put it on my MacBook on the internal storage, and not within the Dropbox folder, it will be difficult to manage as I will essentially have two Calibre Libraries and every book I load will need to be loaded on both of them.
Calibre IS on my MacBook it’s just the folder is prefixed Dropbox. It’s not offline in the cloud, it’s on my MacBook.
