Hello, I have PB618 and I am also interested in a better browser. At least I need it to support more websites and an ad blocker. Extensions would be great but I am not sure if PB618 can handle it.

I wonder if normal linux browser can be launched for example from Alpine Linux chroot that renders to framebuffer(maybe Xorg with fb backed) or maybe specific browser designed to work with fb like this https://github.com/femelo/framebuffer-browser. I failed to build it.

It would be great to have normal GNU/Linux distro such as Alpine here to install software. I wanted to port mainline U-Boot and Linux to it's B288 SoC but there is no documentation and a lot of proprietary binaries used, so it is hard.
