Music Rant and Vent Thread

This is in response to comments in the Reading Rant and Vent Thread about making a separate thread concerning issues concerning music.

For me, one of the major irritants in music is either the lack of Composer Credits and Composer Credits that are so small you can't read them without a strong magnifying class. I recently started updating the Composer Credits in my digital music collection. It would seem to be an easy job since I have the CDs with the booklets, and my downloads should have already had the composer credits including (incomplete credits in downloads is another irritant).

That is often not the case. It is not unusual to have to track down the Composer Credits from many on-line sources (including MusicBrainz). Sometimes I have to go to Discogs and look at the actual 45/LP label/album jacket to get the Composer Credits because that's the only way to track down the information. In a few cases even that is not enough.
