You might also want to try adding the Kobo Metadata plugin. For books that are on both Kobo and Amazon, it seems to be more reliable in returning data. I tried after adding the ASIN ( B06XRCBRX8 ) as both amazon: and mobi-asin: and both Kobo and Amazon returned metadata. Just for the heck of it, I then repeated the metadata fetch. After 5 fetches, Amazon dropped out and another 3 fetches knocked Kobo out. A 15 minute break while I enjoyed a coffee and scrumpet and both worked for two more tries.
