I am taking screenshots of the competing price. I think waiting to download until the refund arrives is a good idea. I'll do that in future. But £3.95 (Kobo with price match) instead of £4.34 (Amazon) or £11.99 (Kobo), as in my latest purchase, is well worth doing.

But it sounds like refusal to price-match is rare.
