I didnt say it was a hardware issue. I said its an issue between the hardware and Qt the toolkit calibre uses. The two are not compatible, for whatever reason. Numpad keys work fine on other platforms. macOS + that hardware doesnt, this is something that happens in layers below calibre code, so its not something that can be fixed in calibre. And its certainly not something that can be fixed without access to the hardware/platform in question.
