I had similar problems with all the recommended versions of tools and plug ins. Dragging from the device wouldn't work. But when use the 'add books' button in calibre and navigate to the folder on my oasis with all my books (I think it's called 'info" on the Oasis, it's not the top (root) folder on the oasis) it worked fine.
