When I drag the KFX file off my Kindle Paperwhite straight into Calibre the process fails as the resulting file in Calibre is still .kfx-zip (not .kfx)

Any ideas?

I'm having the same exact problem. My imported books are showing as .kfx-zip and still have DRM. I added my device's serial number to the deDRM plugin, so that's not the problem.

I have version 10.0.3 of deDRM installed, instead of 10.0.9 beta. Is that the problem? Where would I get the x.9 beta version?
