I use Reading List to add the books I want to add to my Kobo next time I connect it to my library. Most are ePub. Occasionally I will send a KePub. With the custom column, I just mark it as Y and then Reading List runs, it sends the books to my Kobo. The ones I want as KePub get sent as KePub and the ones I want as ePub get sent as ePub. The template decides which books areePub and which are KePub.

As it stands now, I would have to send all ePub with Reading List and manually send the KePub. That means I have to remember what it is I want to send as KePub. I'm not always so good with that. As it stands now, I don't have to remember what I want to add to my Kobo. And I can easily look to see what it is I am going to be adding.
