Don't know if and when they will turn if off but I'm done. I bought a Kobo Libra colour and for travel a clara colour. Both are very nice. Far more customizable and a lot less push with advertisements. I still bought books from Kindle but the last book I can remove DRM from is the last book I buy from them. I am not interested in a content license for the price of a book. Finally, if you want to send Amazon a message do what I did and cancel the amazon ads about discount books and book offers. Nothing scares a vendor more than not being able to push its advertising at you.
