How to reload the explorer-3.db

I manage my collections for my books with the Pocketbook collection manager. This generally works, but sometimes the explorer-3.db is corrupt and after disconnection from my PC or restarting the Pocketbook .. all books are marked as new and all collections are empty. My solution until now is to have a backup on my pc and replace it.

What is want to do now to be independent of my pc. I have a script backup which copies this db to a seperate folder .. and an script restore to overwrite the used db with the backup. The probelm is after the restore the new db is not used and if i reboot and check the db a new one is created. When i do the manual way (copying from my pc) and disconnect it from pc i see the wheel which seems the reload of the db, and it works .. how can i manually force such a reload?

Regards

Peter
