Yesterday I Backed up 8054 reading status on one Kobo (in one go) and wrote them to a second Kobo. I actually copied 8038 ebooks to the second Kobo first in one go as an experiment rather than usual few 100 at a time (which took about 200 minutes) and then waited for those to import after eject (which took a while) and then reconnected, which updated series etc. Then I restored the reading positions of the 8038 selected titles.

All worked. Simply trying to copy files inc the database dierect between two Sage ereaders caused a "critical error" and the fresh Kobo Sage reset and erased everything.

The Kobo database backup worked for both Sage ereaders yesterday. Everything seems upto date (Calibre, Kobo Driver, Kobo Utilities etc) I don't use kepub on Send, though I might have one or two for testing.

I suppose I should delete older database backups occasionally.
