The non-BT ones in the past often insecure.
There are so few ports now on laptops / chromebooks /tablet as laptop that I have hubs anyway often for ethernet (stupid designs too thin for an ethernet port) or other things, so a corded USB mouse is no bother. The USB-C directive should specify a minimum of two USB-C ports. Also it doesn't forbid ALSO having a standard coax power plug. I managed to find a USB-C to USB-A with a USB-C that works to charge host, but it doesn't support higher powers.
