Hello.

All I want to do is use Calibre to back up my books from Amazon to be read on the Kindle. I don't want to send them to any other type of reader or convert them for some other use. I just want to be able to move them to and from the Kindle using Calibre.

Once Amazon removes the option to download them from the Amazon site, I was thinking that I could download them to the Kindle over Wifi and then attach the Kindle to my PC and copy the files over into Calibre. Is that feasible, given my limited use noted above? Are there other steps for me to take?
