This seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you very much! I now got a popup when connecting the Kobo, asking me which books I wanted to update the reading status for, which set the "Kobo %Read" column to 100 for all of the ones I had previously marked as read but left the other columns blank.
I now see a different issue, however, but I haven't had time to look into what it means or how common it is (I'm on my first morning coffee of the day. Mercy!). The book I'm currently reading, which I bought on Kobo before getting the device, downloaded, de-DRMed, and converted on my PC, does not update its reading status in the Calibre library. Furthermore, another book that I bought on the Kobo but didn't download yet does not show up on the list of books on the device's main memory. I'm a little confused. Is this by design? Is there anything I can do to change this behavior?
