I've reached the conculsion my NOCO GBX45 is faulty; at least on the 12V car battery boosting mode. My friends had no issues starting my car with their higher capacity GB70 unit. At leaxst I can use the GBX45 as a USB charger (both a USB A and C output).
Have a sent a query of to NOCO to see if there are any diagnostics I can invoke on the device to validate if all is working correctly.
After starting the car went for a nice 2 hour drive to esnure the battery was fully charged.
