No problems

Just glad I found a solution, next I'm going to see what exactly I bought from Amazon in the last year and if it's 70 - 90% e-books (which I think it is) my Amazon account will be closed, the not allowing downloads to a computer is the last straw.
It might just be me but I've felt that their 'recommendations' for e-books has become less and less relevant to me over the last few years, the search results have become filled with e-books of very poor quality i.e. I searched for Space operas as that used to come up with the type of long scifi books I like (say 600+ pages) now it comes up with pages of mini books 100 - 200 pages long that form a series or just really short books, the authors I do read are buried on page 18 or something. Its the same for other genres, and then when you do click on a book just to check the amount of pages/ synopsis but you realise it's not something you'd read Amazon takes that as interest so you get flooded with even more irrelevant suggestions, ad infinitum
Time to give alternatives a go (now I know how to)
