The exact statement from Amazon’s email is, “You can, of course, continue to read Kindle content using Kindle for Web, or the free Kindle apps for Android, iOS, Mac, and PC as well as supported Kindle devices with WiFi capability.”
The word “supported” there has me concerned. One interpretation is any device with WiFi. Another is any device still new enough to be receiving firmware updates. Time will tell.
