Hi folks, I am having a similar issue with Winterbreak and PW4. I also found Marek's usbnetlite which installed correctly.
The problem is that I can't ssh into my kindle. I am using Mac OS which correctly detects it as a RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget. I set the IP to 192.168.15.102 and Subnet mask to 255.255.255.0.
Seems like my mac can see the kindle but I get keep connection refused. Any idea what to do?
(base) ➜ ~ ssh root@192.168.15.201
ssh: connect to host 192.168.15.201 port 22: Connection refused
