Hello everyone.
I joined up to make one last ditch attempt to fix a Kobo Libra 2 which failed following unplugging from a Windows computer without first clicking safely remove device.
Factory reset wouldn't work, and when looking to see if I was doing the button combo right, I came across mobileread and the various help threads. I was able to recover it by removing the SD card, creating an image, and copying it to a new card thanks to the various threads on here.

2nd thank you - DNSB - sent me the firmware for my reader before I even had a chance to request them!

4th thank you - Gergith - for their guide to flashing SD cards, particularly the links to the "Flash Drive Image Creator" / "Flash Drive Image Writer" software.
5th thank you - skriejantis.dari - for their post stating they recovered their Libra 2 by imaging the old SD card and copying the image to a new card.
