You could probably find refilled cartridges for your Epson printer but, IMNSHO, not really worth it since the print quality can vary wildly even from the same company.

Most of the people I know have swapped their inkjet printers for ones that use refill cartridges. One person commented that their new Epson EcoTank printer refill bottles are good for 7,000/5500 pages (black/colour) and cost about the same as a single set of replacement cartridges for their HP inkjet printer which printed ~240 pages (black/colour). The 4 bottle Epson refill is $85 Cdn and the HP 67XL (not absolutely certain but think that was what was on the box) cartridge pair (black and tri-colour) is $75 Cdn.
