The Kobo database compression doesn't work. That is a big deal. So that needs to be fixed regardless of any new features. The new features can go (IMHO) until the database compression works again. It's better to have Kobo Utilities working then new features that we don't actually need.

As you can see, a number of us have gone back to the 2.17.2 because of the database compression bug. So that proves that we find the database compression more important then the new features in 2.18.0.
