It didn't get quite as warm or sunny as I had hoped, so the ice was still very solid, very heavy, and securely frozen to the pavement. My car is out of the driveway and parked at the top of the hill -- I parked up there before the snow started -- but my wife decided to take her chances and her car is still at the bottom of the driveway. I managed to get some of the ice broken up and pushed out of the way.
The high temperature today briefly hit 36°F and it was very cloudy. The temperature has been falling and should bottom out in the teens. More snow is predicted for Tuesday night through Thursday, and again Saturday and Sunday. Sleet and freezing rain are possible throughout.
