Yep, well that'd better than nothing. It's still a far cry from just pointing it at a directory and saying import everything though.
But in fact even that won't work for a 'My Kindle Content' dir, will it? I don't think so. For each book is in a dir of its own inside that dir. When in win10 I open a dir and select a book I'll lose that selection when I go back to the file tree in explorer and open the next dir.
So I have no choice but work through them one at a time. I think.
Perhaps do a quick and dirty install. I think I remember years ago doing something like that. Pointed calibre at the root dir and it imported I think the .azl, the .phl and the .md file and I got all this rubbish in my library. Freaked me out at the time. But i'm thinking now if it happened again: deliberately, I could search on those extensions and bulk delete?
