I agree that this would not
normally be a problem. But I recall an instance when I was playing around with menus/options or some such on KOreader and some setting about updating the time was unchecked and I suddenly realized it was something like a half hour later than the clock showed
So I'd likely shy away from a clock that doesn't always update.
