To be honest I’m not sure about this one. When you connect your Kindle via USB without using Calibre (so just via the file manager), does Windows (or whatever OS you’re using) report 11 GB free, or does it say your Kindle is full?
  • If you see 11GB of free space then it’s an issue with Calibre, you might get some help in the Calibre forums.
  • If it shows the Kindle is full, then perhaps you might want to run something like TreeSize to find out which files are taking all the space; if you see that you are indeed using all the space on the device (and thus your Kindle is reporting the space incorrectly), you might have to reset it.
