If you are curious, then you can look in the DeDRM_plugin.zip for the LCP drm removal file. If it is present, then open that file in a text editor. It will say if it is the placeholder file or not.

The version I have does work on the books edrlab offers to test compliance, edrlab.org/readium-lcp/testing-readium-lcp-compliant-devices/. I have no idea about any other LCP protected books, but I'd guess these are using current LCP drm.
