I just now realized are
J. Robert Lennon who wrote the book,
Mailman. I bought this in hardback when it first came out, and it is a book that I have treasured since first reading it. My copy is a First Edition, in pristine condition and is protected by a Brodart archival book jacket.
Mailman was a transformative book for me, and made me aware of my own limitations and frustrations. The novel is a satirical masterpiece that resonates with the things I find silly in life. And yet, it is filled with pathos too, in addition to having a certain Kafkaesque quality that heightens the situations the protagonist has to face - probably feelings most of us go through in life.
Thank you for creating this important novel.
