so it's a PW5, the problem is that when they gave it to me I preset it and tried to register it, just like with the previous one, only this one didn't register, I was spreading slander and it may be because the previous owner still has it registered.
The seller has a lot of ebooks posted on a famous buying and selling page, I think he buys lots from Amazon or something similar, I doubt they are stolen because it would be so obvious to catch him.

Can I try it even if I have to (register my Kindle)? If it fails and it doesn't allow me for that reason, can I leave the device as it was given to me?
If the process can fail, I can change it for another one and that's it, as this one is in very good condition.
