I don't see why they would be. The reading positions were saved by the app and I seem to only have one copy of each book on the device. (I have multiple in the calibre library though.) They're all sideloaded and they're all kepub. (A file ending in .kepub.epub is still a kepub, right? I've been converting them to kepub through calibre.) At first I thought it might be because I'm adding chapters to the books through fanficfare, but it happened to a sideloaded book that fanficfare hasn't touched.
For clarity, my database got corrupted so I rebuilt it, which is why I'm trying to restore all my reading progress.
