Once we got past the cheesy original TV show and its equally cheesy Kirk-based movies, I've thoroughly enjoyed all of the Star Trek shows and movies. Right up through Strange New Worlds and Discovery. I haven't watched Lower Decks because I'm not really a fan of animation that I didn't watch on Saturday mornings as a child (though the crossover episode with Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks was pretty fun). I've enjoyed some more than others, of course, but I don't recall being disappointed by anything post-Shatner/Nimoy. Probably because I don't get hung up on canon, and because I frankly find diversity and the addition of more inter-personal relationships in scifi quite refreshing.
