When I finish a book on my Kindle I add it to a collection called "Books I've Read". If I import the collection update to the same column in Calibre that I use for all my other books the import will delete the collections for books not on the Kindle (The import overwrites the entire column of both books on my Kindle and books not). Maybe I did something wrong here?
At the moment I import collections from my Kindle to a separate column. So I have two columns. "Calibre Collections for Kindle" and "Kindle Collections for Calibre". In Calibre I don't see a good way to copy updates from one to another (maybe a question for Calibre forum).
Can anyone share a good workflow for transferring Collection updates from the Kindle to Calibre? Does anyone else do this? If so, how? Thanks.
