The problem with MP3 players for adiobooks is that there probably isn't a speed adjustment. Most of the time I do want to increase the speed. Also, if you want to play something else, you'll lose your listening position for your audiobook.
However, if your MP3 player is Android based, you may be able to install an app for reading your audiobooks.
