September 2011. For a couple of years I only used it for DRM removal and backup, not library management, but this changed once I had over a thousand ebooks and managing by folders became a PITA. Never looked back since.

Edit: I discovered calibre when googling about DRM removal before buying my first DRMed ebook. I found MR several years later.
