And for what it is worth, I added code to master to MainWindow::closeEvent that remembers if you had F&R open when trying to exit Sigil and if you cancel the exit to then reopen F&R that the WriteSettings closed.
So even that expected exiting behaviour will no longer happen in the next release.
So if anyone can reproduce the seemingly random closures of F&R reported above while doing something **other than** trying to exit Sigil, a set of detailed instructions to recreate the bug would be welcome!
