Kobo Elipsa 2E vs Scribe 2022 (1st one)

Hi all,

Hope you are all good.

I am a professional who normally attends long meetings on a daily basis at work. I enjoy taking notes but would like to start taking them on an e-ink notepad instead of a paper one.

I am on a budget, so I cannot get a very expensive e-ink notepad. I have seen the Kobo Elipsa 2e and the first Scribe (2022) for similar prices. I was wondering if you could help me with a few questions so I can decide which one to get:

• Which one do you think is better for note-taking purposes?
• I know that the Scribe doesn't have infinite-length pages. Does the Kobo Elipsa 2e have this feature?
• In which one is it easier to send your notes to your laptop?
• I have read that on the Scribe, you have to use Amazon software to save PDF files on the Scribe. Do you also have to use it to transfer your notes from the Scribe to your computer?
• Can you write on your books on both devices? If so, can you then export the notes to your computer?

Overall, do you think it's better to spend a bit more money and get the Kobo Elipsa 2e if I am going to be taking notes every day and also use it to read books, study, and so on, instead of the Scribe 2022, which is a bit cheaper?

Thanks, and have a lovely weekend!
